This wonderful black Quarter Horse Stallion has shared the last 20 years with us. His babies have done everything - From multiple top five at the world show to state champion 4-H horses to producing daughters to dependable mounts and friends.
Smokeys correct conformation, natural muscling, balance, and pretty head create an overall appealing individual. In 1980 & 1981 Smokey Commander was high point Halter stallion, and stood Grand Champion over a dozen Quarter Horse shows.
Smokey has been retired from breeding all but a few of our select mares. His foals are black, buckskin and palomino. He is bred to work cows and perform, but his babies exceed in everything from halter to pleasure to jumping to chasing cows.
